Timber Wolf In Forest - TW139

One thing about taking photographs during the summer is the beautiful mottled green backgrounds. It adds a nice splash of colour to the image. Shooting on slightly over cast days reduces the problem of hot spots of light in the background. These bright spots immediately draw the observers eye to them and away from the main subject. The shot was taken with a Nikon D300 and their 200-400mm F4 lens.
